From the driving rock of "Radio Nowhere" to the wistfulness of “Girls In Their Summer Clothes”, the singing is among the strongest he's ever done. The influence of Phil Spector is what I hear in the production, more so than Brian Wilson. Of course, that's been there since the beginning. “Livin’ In The Future” and "I'll Work for Your Love" sound very like the Spectorisms from "The River" album, but a lot of these sound more like Phil was the co-producer. It's not quite as much fun as "The Seeger Sessions", but avoids a lot of the seriousness of "The Rising", never mind the dreary "D&D". It was nice to hear Bruce back in a good mood, and, unlike "Human Touch" it's Bruce making good music while he's in a good mood.trfesokhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12631886869696528704noreply@blogger.com
